Workshop outcome

• Create a prioritized list of project lessons

• Assign further actions when needed

• Note that the workshop is not about fact-finding or finding blame. It is about generating insights from the facts and translating them to future actions.

Pre-work

• Scope the part of the project that should be reviewed

• Review the project charter & the project master plan

• Review the latest project status report

Agenda

• Create a list of lessons

• Classify them into “Start”, Stop” and “Continue” format

• Collectively rank and prioritize the lessons

• Discuss further steps and actions as needed

 

A lessons-learned workshop will typically be concluded in half-a-day
